WITC students, instructor tour Germany

From the Superior Telegram: “WITC students, instructor tour German” — Three Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College students and an instructor recently took part in a two week cultural exchange in Germany. Student Reid Peterson and auto maintenance instructor Todd Asanovich from the WITC-Superior campus and students Terri Rydeen and Ashley Pray are from the WITC-New Richmond campus took the trip.

On May 25, the group left for Frankfurt, Germany where they spent nine days with a host family. From there, they traveled to Cologne, Germany, where they spent the duration of their visit. The purpose of this exchange is to gain a better understanding of the German culture and their educational system. The group toured local landmarks, facilities, and schools. This is the second year WITC has taken part in this exchange.

Last fall, WITC played host to students and instructors from Franz-Boehme Schule in Frankfurt, Germany.
