FVTC hosting fifth annual aviation open house

From thenorthwestern.com: “FVTC hosting fifth annual aviation open house” – Fox Valley Technical College is hosting its 5th annual Aviation Open House and Breakfast Fly-In on Saturday, April 28 from 8:00 – noon at its S.J. Spanbauer Center, 3601 Oregon Street in Oshkosh.
The free event features a tour of FVTC’s aviation-related programs, high-tech labs, and simulators, in addition to an opportunity to meet with faculty members, current students, and graduates. Training for pilots, aircraft electronics, and airframe and power plant mechanics are all provided at the center. Visitors can also purchase an all-you-can-eat breakfast option for $8 per person. This year’s open house includes a silent auction as a special fundraiser for a 2009 Aeronautics Pilot graduate’s spouse, who recently received a multi-visceral organ transplant.
