From the Green Bay Press Gazette: “Northeast Wisconsin Technical College ranks among top community colleges” – Northeast Wisconsin Technical College ranks among the top 10 percent of community colleges in the country and could vie for up to $700,000 in prize money for the honor.
The Aspen Institute College Excellence program recently ranked NWTC as one of the country’s 120 best community colleges, putting it in the running for several large cash prizes.
The Aspen program aims to identify campus-wide practices that significantly improve student success. The idea is to then share those practices with other community colleges.
“We are deeply honored with this recognition,” NWTC president Jeff Rafn said. “NWTC’s No. 1 priority is to make sure students succeed. This recognition assures us that we are on the right path.”
